Ponies

Today was over the Black Mountains - rising to over 700m the high point of our route. The ponies were happily grazing - lots of them. Somewhat curiously they seem to like using the path as a pony toilet with regular heaps deposited along the way… not offensive though. Views were spectacular and the route well graded for our descent into Hay on Wye which was gearing up for the mega book festival.
