Manhattan skyline

Back blipping with some iPhone photos before I begin to forget what happened when. I may come back with some 'real' photos from the camera at a later date. Especially as A is particularly keen that today is mainly remembered for seeing the Statue of Liberty. As it is currently closed due to repairs following hurricane Sandy damage we went for the free Staten Island Ferry option which everyone was very happy with.

This was our early morning outing followed by a wander through the Financial District and visit to One World Trade Center and then back to the hotel.

Lunch and a relax before heading uptown to Central Park. Along with the rest of Manhattan, it being a public holiday and gloriously hot weather.

Afternoon tea at Landmarc before I took Anna home for a too much sun induced early night and Carl and Jackson went to visit an old friend.
