Got delayed after the church service which meant we got delayed by the town bridge. It has to be raised every two hours to let the yachts in and out of the marina - and it got us! Burton the plus side - although we had to wait for 25 minutes (!) we were entertained by live music outside Rendevous who had hired a curtain slider for the weekend, we could watch all the boats going in and out, and people watch. There was a ‘Fair in the square’ fun event in Hope square and all along the harbour side, all in aid of the Rotary club. When we were able to cross the bridge we stayed in Hope Square for a while listening to the Dorset Wrecks - a talented group singing sea shanties.
Back home for a while, then headed to Abbotsbury gardens for a while to complete our 10000 steps.
