Fog sculpture

We are in Canberra, Australia's capital city. Its story is an interesting one, but that's for another time. Today we visited the National Gallery of Australia. It has a sculpture garden fronting Lake Burley Griffin and what a pleasure it is to walk through.

My photo is of Fog Sculpture (1976) by Fujiki Nakayama. It shifts and changes with wind and time which presents a challenge for a photographer. With my main and the extras I had to wait for the ever swirling mist to do something I felt would work as a photo. I wanted to be kept waiting.
