Challenge accepted!

Today's Mono Monday topic is Challenge, and although this image is not photographically challenging (and therefore a bit off topic), these ducks have certainly taken up the challenge laid down by the local council.
For reasons known only to "those in high places" a decision has been made to transform the local duck pond by bulldozing all the beautiful surrounding trees, including some gorgeous old cherry trees, and replacing them with - - - - well, watch this space. It's a mystery at the moment!
Meanwhile the Council relocated the ducks to Wentworth Falls Lake, about 15km away as the duck flies, but forgot to tell the ducks ;-)
Challenge accepted! The ducks have returned to the public swimming pool located next to their original pond and are now setting their own "clean up" challenge for the Council.
Gotta love beaurocracy!
