Seal

We had a wonderful trip out to the Bass Rock today where my friend S and I swam off the boat. The water temp was about 9-10 degrees but actually ...after the first shock was fine. We weren't in long - just enough to say we'd done it. Im not geared up for diving yet but hope to soon be.
Saw a fair number of gannets - nothing like it was before the avian flu outbreak last year but they are obviously recovering. Also shag, guillemot and this beautiful seal. There were a lot of jellyfish as well - both the harmless Moon and Comb jellies but also a few Lions Mane which are nastier.
