Hey up there!

We went to a local 'castle' today.itsmpre of a fortified house, but we needed to visit a castle. 

Two years ago,  the school topic for the eldest was castle's, normally the school would go to Warwick castle as part of the topic, but couldn't due to covid. The youngest is now doing the se topic and is about to go to Warwick castle, whi h has been lumped under the 'its not fair' banner by the eldest. And I get that. So we had a lovely day out admiring what is essentially a family home, albeit it a very impressive one that happens to have been built by William the Conquorer. 

Sleepover in the garden was a success - they are all back out there again tonight! So I'm alone once again.
