From the other side

Visiting preacher at church and Mr Rat was preaching elsewhere but was back in time to help entertain the preacher for lunch. A time chatting before he left to go home and then I had a walk round the ponds and woods. I took a narrow, overgrown path, not crossing the burn by the bridge, and was walking through a field of wild garlic - and 1 orchid. 
Watched the end of the Giro d'Italia, stage win for Cavendish with a great sprint to the end.
Now relaxing to prepare for another busy week ahead.
Our son is chaplain for a local football team (not one of the top flight ones) who have had a difficult year off the field and he was awarded an award for going beyond the call of duty, they really appreciate their chaplain.
