Starling invasion

Our lawn and then the pond has been invaded by starlings. They seem to be young birds and they stick together with a very quick get away if they are frightened.

You may be able to see the fishing line stretched across the pond. this is to discourage a pair of persistent ducks, so far it seems to be working.
