Revidge Walk in the Peaks
we did our Revidge walk again today. Last walked in July 2022.
If I had been left to my own devices I wouldn't have made it past the first meadow as it was full of bugs and insects. As it was I didn't have my macro lens with me so had to resort to using my phone. I have added a very poor photo of a superb longhorn beetle - a Golden-bloomed Grey Longhorn! I've never seen one before. I just felt I needed to record it.
The main image is of a small coppice just before we reached the summit of the walk. We saw hardly a soul and the views from the top are a gorgeous 360 degrees of the area.
Coffee and ice creams back at the Hulme End Cafe were a perfect way to end the walk.
