Tea with friends & relations

This morning we sat with family and hospitable friends enjoying tea in a charming Edinburgh lounge. Our purpose was to discuss sober matters and yet we had time to smile at shared recollections. These memories helped lighten the day. This simple photograph of a table will in years to come witness for me the depth of human qualities I experienced while sitting at it enjoying tea.
