Pena Palace Sintra

A two night stay in Sintra just outside Lisbon meant visiting 4 different castles/ palaces in the surrounding mountains. This one was the most visually stunning (a place developed for the Royal Family of the time to relax away from Lisbon- Royalty is now no longer recognised)... Off to Nazare today further up the coast (home to the largest surfable waves in the world- during winter Atlantic storms)....
