Our new town

A productive day that didn’t involve cardboard boxes!!

We went round to see R & S this morning. I chatted and helped S whilst he was gardening. R helped B to sort out some on line stuff that is impossible when we don’t have internet.

R then took us into town to visit the makers market which is held on the 4th Saturday of the month and to get an idea of the essential shops. As we walked from the car park to the pedestrian area of the high street we saw an art / craft shop. When I stopped to look I was delighted to see the sign ‘knit and natter, Wednesday 10-12’ . That made my day!!!

I met some more of the neighbours this afternoon and did some gardening this evening when the weather had cooled off a bit.

A sense of satisfaction!!
