Montperyoux

we stopped overnight at Montperyoux. Its a lovely hilltop village which reminded me of Castelnou, close to Thuir. Its full of 'Artisans d'art ' and I suspect is very busy in season but at this time of year was fairly deserted with most of the artisan shops closed. Luckily we found a choice of three nearby restaurants open , as most are limited to a few nights a week. We had a wander around the lovely streets before leaving in the morning. Its a shame we were only there for the night as the bed and breakfast was great with our own terrace and fabulous view but too little time to enjoy it!  Will need to return one day.
