Silly Addy!

Today was insane! I was expecting someone in from North Carolina - all day meeting...so I knew I had it in for me, went to bed early last night.

Larry (my lead engineer) and I were literally stuck in a conference room all day. I did manage to get out to lunch w/ my friend Sean. After work - went downtown for a little get together w/ friends and coworkers. I really dont have time to see everyone when I'm home - so happy hour usually works.

Kayla showed up, I was so happy to see her! She really is such a good person! I dont know what was going on but her and I got asked out the entire night! Guys coming up complimenting us, just wanting to say hello...you name it! That was interesting! A great night - I'm so glad I got to see everyone, a few couldnt make it, but I understand, we kind of put this together at the last minute.

I did end the night w/ an interesting conversation with someone from my past, someone I once dated for two years. We're back to being friends - the years that have gone by have healed a lot of things. I'm glad to have him back in my life - we've both definitely missed our friendship. It was nice to actually just relax and laugh...catch up with what's been going on in our lives.

Now to the photo...Tara sent me a photo from her phone of her dog Addy! That little dog has so much personality! A little girl must have left her pacifier on the ground - Addy picks it up, puts it in her mouth and just walked around with it - would not let it go!! Silly pup!! Definitely made me smile!
