Beach Treasures
Some bits and pieces found on a beach walk on the River Forth.
Some sort of pot leg, a bit of Scottish sponge ware, half a dozen clay pipe stems, a bit of stoneware.
The stoneware piece has the writing Lovatt and Lovatt stamped on it, which dates the piece to 1895-1930 from the Langley Mill pottery in Derbyshire. Probably a salt glazed ink pot.
Great when these finds are easy to identify.
