Recovery

A busy few days, digging up dead shrubs and cutting off the deadwood on at least six long established evergreens that were all but killed by the sub-zero temperatures over New Year.
A trip to B&Q on a 20 % off weekend helped to put some cheap and cheerful annuals in to give some colour.
The alliums have done us proud this year, maybe a hard winter encourages vigour in the spring. We’ve also put on a couple of hundred litres of soil conditioner mixed with the soil and will completely mulch the surface to keep it damp.
.We’re both knackered now…..
