(on the way to see The Eight Mountains, a story of friendship of two boys who become two men, both attached differently to the mountains around Grana, Italy near Turin.  I imagined Tom who climbed and hiked there, with me telling me stories afterwards.  I loved the film, and felt both lonely for him, and also settled.  these journeys are so odd with their many chapters and verses.  This film embraces love, change, ongoing life, too)
