On The Chaise Longue
On The Chaise Longue,
On The Chaise Longue,
All day long, on the chaise longue.
Happy Anniversary Mrs C, 34 years eh. To celebrate we went for pizza and chips on Gorgie Road, as you do, then down to Murrayfield to see Wet Leg singing about how long they spent on their chairs. Fab...
We were just about to head home when none other than Sir Harry Styles appeared, as if from nowhere, so we decided to give him a listen. Yup, you have entertaining skills Harry.
Ok ok I'll spill the beans... we got Ms H tickets to see Harry for her Christmas. As usual in these crazy online ticket purchase dates, you are in a queue for ages and your presented with tickets they have chosen for you, no choosing seats, take it or leave it. Well I took them, but with several browsers open queuing away, 2 better tickets popped up... er... get them, sell the first lot later.
So chatting about it at Christmas time, knowing the date was our anniversary, I suggested to Mrs C we use 2 of the tickets... nahhh, she said. Then I told her Harry's tour is called Love on Tour.. Faced with having to reject an offer of love on our anniversary, she said yes, pun intended.
It was a dash in, parked within walking distance, realised we'd forgotten our pink cowboy hats and pink boas but carried on regardless. We made it to our seats as Wet Leg were on song 1, phew. Ms H however, sheesh, made it to her seats 20 mins later (she travelled separately with her friend). I wasn't impressed. Anyway Harry came on just after 8.30pm and thanfully the screaming lasted only a few minutes. I have never witness a baby gender reveal before, until half way through Harry's set when he took an envelope off someone with a sign, and revealed her baby was a boy. Hurrah.
Mrs C did in fact enjoy herself, and was mainly dancing for fun rather than to take the weight off her feet because despite having seats, everyone was standing. I too enjoyed myself, he's a great performer, he's a charmer, he can sing. Had the ticketing sequence of events not happened, we wouldn't have gone, unless subconciously maybe I wanted to?
The photo of the stadium top right with the castle in the background, Ms H is pretty much right opposite us despite the seating map. Admittedly she is in the front row and closer to the pitch/stage, but I think she would have been fine with our seats. Anyway, Happy Anni Mrs C.
