Great day in great company

After breakfast we drove to Húsavík again to pick up a member of the photography club who couldn't join us until today, so now there will be seven. The more, the merrier :)

The day was spent driving around the area sightseeing, photographing, chatting, laughing, wading an icy stream, blowing bubbles, eating chocolate and great food, drinking wine...and just enjoying life.

While I was napping in the cottage after dinner, the others went for a little drive to see the sunset at Kópasker and they met this charming photographer with a big lens and great smile. Too bad I missed it, but the nap was really needed!

This is the view from the parking lot at Restaurant Salka, Húsavík. We decided to go there again today and this time for lunch ;)
