She was my nurse today as I was at the centre for a full check up.

I saw Professor Nikki and I bared my soul to her.. Crying more than I've ever cried in my life. I told her I needed the back op and she agreed to re refer me for surgery.

My legs are worse than they've ever been and I don't want to end up in a chair, so I will have the op. How I cope afterwards will be in the lap of the gods but I must have it done sooner rather than later. I only cancelled when C was taken so ill but 3 years down the line and I'm now desperate really. Having said that I am still able to walk (just) and I can still drive but if I leave it for too many more years I'll be inoperable.

It was a lovely drive down with no traffic and no roadworks and a good trip home too, which was just what the Dr ordered.

They told me my heart was still acting up following the cardioversion in March. Am back at cardio clinic next week..
