New Tates

This morning I overslept and was later up than I would have ideally liked. Today was a little different from my recent routine as my Dad had asked me to go over to his bungalow to get rid of anything from the fridge/freezer that was off, have a general square-up and take him a few things he needed from home.

I was also tasked with calling his friend Linda who, he says, knows everyone in the village and would be able to get the word out that he was still in the land of the living! She was glad to hear from me and to know he is doing OK as all she knew was that he'd been blue-lighted to hospital - she had been worried about him.

Last night I enjoyed watching TV Rugby League as it happened for once. Good to see Wigan get back to winning ways - even if they did once again chuck away a good lead. At least this time they fought back to take it to extra time and scored a try in that to win!

I took this shot by Harry's little shop on the way back to catch my train home. Harry is even older than my Dad and still running this shop with fruit, veg, flowers and other second hand bits and pieces people sell to him for him to sell on.
