Goof

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I made the mistake of trying to prank Shenée today. 

Erica from Project Laura is now working with Shenée and so I asked Erica to invite me into their weekly catch-up meeting.

"She will FREAK OUT," I said confidently. "You will hear the SQUEAL around the building."

So Erica did as I asked and I was invited to their meeting. 

Only Erica was late.

And Shenée was not on her own. There were proper PROFESSIONAL people in the meeting with her. No-one had told me about this. 

"Errrr..." I stammered.

"Oh!" said Shenée. "I know Stoffy! He and I used to work together! Why are you in this meeting?"

I thought it best to play along. I didn't want to get Erica into trouble. I made up some sh*t about my having some high-level involvement due to my participation in Project Laura.

Long story short, Erica was EXTREMELY LATE into the meeting. Shenée was NOT freaked out and I by the time Erica arrived I had been given effing ACTIONS. 

Shenée called me later. "I'm so glad we are working together again!" she beamed. 

I explained to her that it was just a prank. A goof. But somehow now I have actual WORK to do. 

She belly-laughed at me so hard. 

I'm now wondering if she and Erica were in it together from the start.
