First courgette plant

Out of nearly 30 squash and courgette seeds I've sown, and after nearly 2 weeks, only 1 has germinated. 

I've started digging around the sowing locations to see if the seeds have rotted or been eaten...

Or maybe the soils's just slow to warm up (even under cloches) as it's been the coldest spring since I took up the plot.

And I can't even remember what this is - possibly a 'Ronde de Nice'.
