Bird protection

An allotment friend recently said that their plot was "part gardening, part fortification" and I definitely second that!

I'm currently having problems with muntjacs, badgers, red ants and now birds! My beetroot seedlings have been picked at so I've had to cover them. Hope this jute netting helps, it's more breathable and easier for watering. I'll remove it when the beetroot seedlings have 3 or 4 leaves.
