Heron

Not a good photo and very cropped but I've tried to get a photo of a heron for a long time and decided to post this one anyway!
My cousin and fellow blipper DoogieVanIsle came over for a walk and a visit today. G was finishing stacking the wood, so Doogie and I had a lovely walk down Xwaaqw'um on a beautiful summery day. He spotted the heron. We made a stop at the Salt Spring Brewing Co. on the way home so he could buy a pint glass with the logo on it. He ended up buying three! 
G was just finishing stacking when we got home, and he and I talked Doogie's ear off while we ate lunch. So good to have time together! Hope that both he and Impy will come over again soon.
