Busy bee

Caleb arrived nice and early, post breakfast snack and routine tv programmes (whilst playing with toys). Then off to school.

Back home, changed into my cycling gear - off on my bike. Today I managed 6.5 miles, a few occasions getting off and walking. Bracknell is nit flat town, but fir every “up” there is a “down”. Always feel overall body drained when I get home, plenty of fluids and a rest and things improve.

Met up with my friend at a local garden centre for lunch. Mooched and shopped plants, then went and had lunch. Lunch very nice - food good and so good to catch up (we’ve been friend since Youth Club).

Said our goodbyes and on picking Oscar up from home, took him to his nurse appointment to have the tick removed, which she did with ease. It was quite near the eye and had made itself quite comfy. I thought it was dead but then it’s mouth pieces started moving ….. ergh! Oscars been given tablets to repel any ticks for the next three months.

This bee was busy collecting from flowers this evening, no pollen on the legs so not sure if it’s just started to search for pollen … or it’s not a bee….
