Arran Sunset

The day began with a walk at Glen Trool, up to Bruce’s Stone. Blood was shed here, centuries ago … it makes a good story, I suppose.

A little meander through Burns country - Soutar Johnnie’s cottage was closed.

Now pitched up for the night at Culzean. Castle tomorrow.

It has been a beautiful warm sunny day, and the sunset over the sea, with Arran in the distance, was glorious.
