Au revoir

The pain of  being responsible for the ending of the life of an animal is offset by the joy that you have together.
Said farewell to Zippy today. A hugely loved, brave, gentle boy who I fostered 14 years ago and he came back to live with me 8 years ago.
Struggling at the moment but this will pass.
The shot is of him enjoying this morning's sunshine before I gave him a final brush (which he always loved) and a cuddle full of purring.
