A May visitor

Don’t know how this Mayfly ended up in the house today, they’re common around freshwater wetlands such as fast-flowing rivers or still lakes, none of those here in the garden!

Today’s “quiet” day turned out to be anything but: early morning supermarket delivery, hospice zoom art class, five loads of laundry, umpteen phone calls including having to rearrange five medical appointments, etc, etc, and a very stressful phone conversation with Dad this evening.
