Pond Life

Bonchurch pond is at its best this time of the year. The hanging baskets are in place and will be beautiful once they are in full bloom. The resident turtles (7) were warming themselves on the partially submerged log. Mother duck was being followed by the remaining third of her offspring. Meanwhile, Henry the Heron lurked in amongst the flag Irises waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting fish.
