My lilac tree that was a gift from the kids last year is about to bloom. We added the perennials beside it this year making a nice little garden. The perennials were in a garden along the back of the house where they couldn’t be seen from the deck so we moved them out to this new garden. And now we will have a small vegetable garden along the house. If it does well we will expand it next year. It’s full sun so the tomatoes should be happy there. We really missed having fresh tomatoes last summer. So that was todays job. We also got in a bike ride in the morning and went to a family gathering at my SIL’s for dinner.
