Took the kittens to the vet for neutering. Put them both in the new zip up carrier but i didn’t quite zip it fully and Otis got out whilst i was driving!
Went to Bridge- the three people I usually play with are on holiday but I slotted in to another table who had people missing. Thought I would find the helper not very helpful but actually he was ok and I quite enjoyed it. Went to the hairdressers in the afternoon- usually takes 1.5-2 hours but this time it took 2.25 hours. Normally that would be fine but today it meant I was a bit late picking up the kittens. They were both very lively but Billie was very bothered by the bandage on her leg which covered where the cannula had gone in . Fortunately i was able to take that off after an hour. Then she and Otis decided they didn’t like the e collar she was wearing. Between them they managed to get it off three times! Tried to buy a surgical vest but nowhere in Nottingham stocked them so ordered one from Amazon . Decided to split them up so Otis couldn’t help to get it off and I thought that had sorted it but she finally managed to get it off herself, so had a late trip to the supermarket to buy a normal collar to try and secure it. Seemed to work so I went to bed but Otis not happy without Billy. He cried and scratched at the kitchen door for an hour so in the end I gave him the run of the house (except where Billy was) so of course he ended up in my room. Hope the vest comes tomorrow and he doesn’t try to get that off her!
