Five Legged Stag

Quiet day recovering from too long sat behind the wheel of the car.
Mrs S working, Sam off inland to stay with friends at Camborne left Paddy and I to enjoy the day.

Another from the weekend.
Those who have driven the A35 at Wareham in Dorset will be familiar with the three mile wall containing two million bricks that forms part of the perimeter of Charborough Park. In the midst of the wall a five-legged stag stands atop a gate leading into the 2,000-acre estate owned since Elizabethan times by the Drax family.

A commonly held theory as to why the stag gained an extra limb is that when viewed from Charborough House the animal appeared only to have three legs and the family demanded it be given another but the prosaic truth was to make it more secure.
