Day 1

Today is what they call day 1.  I had cycle 6 of chemo yesterday and expected to feel rubbish today like last time, but actually I have been OK.  I walked the girls to school, came home and did some admin jobs on my phone.  I then did my meditation and slept for half an hour.   My delivery arrived from The Tomato Stall Company just in time for lunch so I had pasta, tomato pesto, fried courgette and sundried tomatoes - delicious!   Then I walked to the shop to top up a few bits for the girls dinner and then drove to pick them up from school.  John has some friends round for a take away curry tonight.  They are sat outside eating and I am keeping away as I am shielding as much as I can.  My mood is OK today, has been better but I am doing OK today after feeling quite low the last few days.  Picture is my current embroidery project.  I don't have the energy to do any tonight but I though I would just take a quick photo of it to track progress.  This one is a bit tricky with metallic thread which keeps snagging!.
