Spectacles.

I thought you might like to see ewe and lamb and the difference in colour.  As my Blip friend reminded me Herdwick lambs start life, black and over time they change to white.  The only white you see at the moment is around the lamb's eyes, making them look like spectacles.  Rather cute I think.  These two, and a small flock were left in the yard, while most of the flock were taken to a field a few hundred yards away.  You can imagine them saying, 'Why not me!'
I chatted to the farmer, who I talked to before and asked him if he had any lambs in his 'hospital' as he calls it.  He had 3 whose mother's had died.  On a previous visit, years ago he showed Jane and I, his patients and now we always have a chat.
