Mighty hawthorn

A very frustrating morning, turned into an enjoyable afternoon, finishing with our first barbecue of the year.

Mid afternoon we had a walk down to the village for a few bits and pieces from the Co-op.
Back through the churchyard I spotted this huge hawthorn tree. Absolutely covered in blossom.It looked stunning in the bright sunshine. I don’t ever remember seeing it just a mass of white before, but then I think all the hawthorn blossom is better than it has been for many years.

It has been another beautiful day. Just a sneaky wind this morning but reached 23C this afternoon. Just loving this weather!
