Virtual reality

Will and I went to the open evening at the Digital Design Studio of the Glasgow School of Art. We saw detailed 3D images of well known buildings and monuments including Mount Rushmore. These are scanned by abseiling down them. What was most impressive is the 3D imaging of the head and neck. Wearing special 3D glasses allowed us to enter the skull and walk around inside it. Truly amazing. This blip is the 2D version of what we saw in 3D. Note that the tongue has been removed and is floating in space.
