Lake Hayes

Had an early appointment with a specialist dentist in Frankton (near Queenstown) this morning.  The drive over the Crown Range was rather slow.  The road had been gritted but care was needed on tight bends still in the shade, one of which was still a bit icy.  The roadworks were ongoing with 30kph signs in place.  The sun was low but on the way back Lake Hayes was calm and sunny with Coronet Ski Field in the background.
