Sour: A tree in peril

The word for today is "Sour."

That's me, sour, as I face the removal of my beloved courtyard magnolia, seen here from my third-floor balcony.

WOODMAN, spare that tree!
Touch not a single bough!
In youth it sheltered me,
And I 'll protect it now.
Old tree! the storm still brave;
And, woodman, leave the spot;
While I 've a hand to save,
Thy axe shall harm it not.

-- George Pope Morris

Please pray or send good thoughts for my tree.
