Ugly duckling?

I don't think so! This cute little cygnet was having a wash and brush up in the rain whilst perched happily on its Mum's back on Windermere. It was so fluffy I can't imagine how anyone could describe it as ugly - although obviously not as striking as Mum.

Weather terrible all day - wall to wall rain - so a trip to the aquarium followed by sit down pizza kept us occupied. Forecast better for tomorrow thank goodness.
