Le Mans - Portes De L’Anjou

Started the day off catching the Chunnel to Calais and experienced an inexplainable ability to stream music the whole way under the sea - we lost the phone signal for about 5 seconds! Anyway, soon we were making our way down through Rouen and eventually to our 23rd May home in Portes de L’Anjou and found ourselves parking the van 10 yds (meters for the more advanced) from the banks of the Loir River. No that’s not a misspelling - there is a smaller river that runs north of the Loire where we are. Had lovely walk along the river and over into the main town to do some shopping and then ate our Hereford butchers chicken with some garlic bread. Sipped on Three Bridges Cabernet before trying to catch up with BG work, Duolingo and Blip! This is my catch up blip so I am no longer a day behind. I love France - it is so attractive - could have posted a myriad of photos of flowers in bloom and ancient buildings - onward we go tomorrow. Due south of Bordeaux for tomorrow night
