New variety.. of Humble Bumble?..

the Lesser Wet Footed Bumble Bee?

When the rain finally stopped at around 5.30 this afternoon I ventured out camera in hand to see what there was to see.. I enjoyed the fact that this little bee was so happy collecting pollen from the dead nettles I had left growing for wildlife reasons!! (That is my excuse and I am sticking to it) and delighted to catch it flying between flowers. When I zoomed in on the picture on the computer I realised even its little feet had drips on!!! The sun is now shining weakly.. better take the opportunity to walk little Flossie who has stayed resolutely in bed today!!
