Merchant City

An area of Glasgow that is much talked about and newly gentrified. A couple of friends who live locally have flats here.   It’s monumental with a grandeur in style that is softened by the sandstone.   I ended up wandering around here this evening as when i got back from set it was a golden evening and I didn’t feel like going into the apartment.  I tried one of the local Italian restaurants and was rewarded with some rather delicious sausage pasta. 

Nice being back on set but the train is so hermetically sealed that I can’t really see much except through the monitors.  I did various things in the production office and then popped up and down and saw everyone.  Got a unit car back in the evening with two of the actors which was fun and gossipy.
