Abandoned Spanish house

From diary:
…the place has been ransacked over the years since the two old men had abandoned it in the 80s and left it to some nuns. In one room, painted pale blue, stood a table and on the table was a stuffed white dove, wings outstretched and looking like some religious icon. We took a few old drinking glasses from the room.
