Fun in the (occasional) Sun

I really enjoyed spending time with my nephew today. He's a lot of fun, always on the go and is at a wonderful age just now: it's lovely to watch him taking in details of the world around him. I brought him a book that had him spellbound: My Granny is a Pirate by Val McDermid. I read it to him four times this afternoon - then he insisted that his mum read it to him twice at bedtime!
