It's that time of year again and hay making is in full swing.    Or it should be, this poor farmer was having problems with the spinners spinning the grass to aerate it.    Happy to see he'd finished when we walked back home so now we await the making into bales.    
It was sunny and windy so perfect drying weather for hay making.
Lovely to see the Hawthorn flowering and the Elder just beginning  to flower.    Soon be time to make Elderflower Cordial.
