Everything changes

We're going to a concert at The Stables theatre in Milton Keynes this evening so today drove over.  After an hour or so in the shopping centre and a visit to the dentist to fill a tooth I chipped last week, we've now checked into our hotel next to Willen Lake.  In the two and a half years since we moved away lots of things have changed here.  This hotel, for instance; it was just a field when we lived here.  Lots of the original waterports buildings and the cafe have gone or are boarded up, and new ones built in their place.  And this 'big wheel' has appeared.  It's probably all for the better but at the moment it doesn't look as nice as it did although to be fair, the building work isn't finished yet.  A shame to see the replica Victorian Bandstand seems to have gone though.
