Gripped by the Giro
I couldn’t resist following this exciting race today.
Three days ago, I was in the taxi on the A22 travelling from Merano to catch my plane in Verona. The Dolomites are amazingly wonderful and I had a superb week. Scenery, people, history etc etc.
I couldn’t justify sitting glued to EuroSport so, between the exciting bits, I nipped out to plant a few seedlings, clear some of the weeds, sow a bit of lettuce. Back to watch the bit around Lake Garda.
Cleaned the floors (one at a time). Hall. Kitchen.
Back to watch them pass near the Autostrada. Back to watch another climb.
Baked some bread as I’m meeting a friend tomorrow.
So I wasn’t just a dazzled four eyes…….
Suki has slept through the lot. (Amazingly, she was glued to the Forest game on Saturday and she normally ignores football. Maybe she’s learning…..)
Oh, and I was thrilled to see a helpful little blue who turned up to give me a blip.
