Eiderlings

I had to stay in all day - well, until a DPD person came to collect a box of CDs. I assumed that being given a 9 am - 5 pm window would mean he'd arrive at 16:55, but no, I was released by lunchtime! Celebrated by walking across the bridge to Aldi and was rewarded with the sight of these eiderlings. They had evidently just discovered the delights of diving - one would go down and the rest would immediately join in, followed by the adult females. Then they bob up like so many corks. So although there were at least six of them and two adults this was the most I got in one shot.

Think the one on the right has just discovered snorkelling!
